Welcome to the 4th Grade Avatar Page
Each student used www.voki.com to create their own avatar to read a paragraph they wrote. This was our first attempt to use this site. In using the site, we all learned that we really need to be careful and edit what we had written. The avatar reads exactly what we wrote. If we didn't put our periods in the correct place, you might hear the avatar said "point". We also learned that it takes a whole lot of computer code to  make our avatars do and say what we type. We had to copy the embedded code and paste it in a Microsoft Word document so that Ms. Curlew could create our class webpage. We completed all these tasks in one 45 minute lesson. It's amazing what you can do in just 45 minutes! We look forward to publishing other work using these avatars.
