The mission of GCPS Parent Centers
is to impact the academic achievement of each student
by creating an environment that
strengthens parental involvement and provides resources for parents.
My name is Tandy Button.
A little about me:
I have been teaching for
19 years.
Classroom Teacher: 17 years
- 6 years in South Africa and 11 years in Georgia
Parent Instructional Support
Coordinator: 2 years

My Qualifications:
B.S degree in Early Childhood
Education (SACTE)
M. Ed degree in Elementary Education
with a specialization in Reading and Literacy (Walden University)
Ed. S degree in Education with
a specialization in Leadership and Administration (Lincoln Memorial University)
Georgia Certified to teach Pre-K
through 5th grade
Georgia Certified in Administration
and Leadership K through 12th grade
