Bear bits about our paraprofessionals:
- Cherie Bantly
- Deb Bermudez
- Leslie Guerin has been a para-pro for
the IdMi self-contained classes since 1996. Her daughter and son are BLES
kids. Mrs. Guerin's daughter graduated from Ga. State with her major in
Speech Disorders. She is a therapist at Meadowcreek Elementary School here
in Gwinnett County. Her son graduated from the Terry Business School at UGA.
- Julie Jones
is a part-time Media Clerk at BLES and
teaches Terrific Thursday after school classes like We Do Robotics
and Toothpick Bridge Building. Many years ago, she taught high school
math and computer classes, worked for IBM in Systems Delivered Education and
also developed computer-based training and aiding systems for aviation
maintenance and inspection. She is a former BLES co-President and currently
volunteers as a scout leader for Troop 650 and as a parent volunteer for the
GSMST Robodragons. She enjoys gardening and reading.

- Mary Jane Moss has
been a paraprofessional since 1988. Previously she worked at B. B. Harris
before coming to Berkeley Lake 16 years ago. Mrs. Moss runs the computer lab and the SME
program. She also does the web page for BLES. Mrs. Moss has two
daughters, 3 dogs, 3 cats and a bird! In her spare time, she likes to read,
play with her animals and work on her computer and Iphone.
