End of Course Tests (EOCT)

This is a mandated test by the state of Georgia. It is given in selected courses. They are Biology, Physical Science, Algebra I*, Geometry*, ninth and eleventh grade Language Arts, Us History, and Economics. This test will be scored and will count 20% of the final grade. (*or the equivalent course).

The A+ Educational Reform Act of 2000, O.C.G.A. ยง20-2-281, mandates that the State Board of Education adopt end-of-course assessments in grades nine through twelve for core subjects to be determined by the State Board of Education. With educator input, and State Board approval, the End-of-Course Testing program is therefore comprised of eight content area assessments. For more information, visit the link below.
