| About the Teacher I have taught as a special education teacher at Cooper Elementary since 2006. Before coming to Cooper, I also worked as a special education teacher in the North Georgia Mountains of Union County for 3 years. At both schools, I worked as a co-teacher in the general education classroom. I graduated from North Ga. College and State University in 2003 with a double major in special education and general education. I later completed my Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Elementary Reading and Literacy. On June 13, 2008, I married my wonderful husband, Jamie. |
| About the Program We provide some special education services in the general education setting through a co-teaching model. This means that a special education teacher co-teaches with a general education teacher. |
