| About Me:
I was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United states when I was 8 years old. I can speak Spanish and English. I graduated from UGA and have been a special education teacher for 4 years. I have always taught here at Cooper. I have taught many grades and love helping students of all ages. I have been married for 9 years and have 2 daughters, Lillian and Leena. |
| Teaching Model:
In the co-teaching model where I teach, I have the opportunity to be in a regular education classroom with a regular education teacher. The students receiving special education support are in that room and I help them as well as all the other students. The regular education teacher and I teach together and we both support all of the students. This year I am working with Mrs. Quattlebaum's 3rd grade class and Mrs. Hairston's 5th grade class. I have worked with both of these teachers before and am excited to work with them again this year. |
