Terry Thomas

About the Teacher:  I have sixteen years experience as a paraprofessional in Gwinnett County schools.  I have been at Cooper Elementary since we opened in 2003.  Over the years I have had the privilege of working with some wonderful teachers and some very special children.  The kindergarteners are my favorite group to work with for several reasons:  they are so eager to learn, they are fun and silly, they love their teachers,  they grow and advance so much during the kindergarten year, AND they're shorter than me!  I fall in love with my kids and enjoy my job so much.  It is a very rewarding career.
About the person:  I have been married to Curtis for 36 years and we have one daughter, Jennifer, who is 32 years old.  Our three cats, Kitty Gray, Mouse and Bear are a constant source of fun for us.
