Elizabeth Moale, Georgia Gwinnett College Student
Appearing in NBC TV Movie, "Game of Your Life"


Elizabeth Moale, former Duluth High School chorus student, will be appearing in an NBC TV movie, “Game of Your Life”, on Friday, 12/2 at 8 PM. The movie was filmed around Atlanta, Georgia Gwinnett College, and Savannah College of Art & Design. Elizabeth was hired as an extra at GGC and worked there and at SCAD for over a week. Elizabeth will graduate GGC in December.

Alumnus Feature: Dusty McKeelan
Brookwood Alumnus to open Stella Adler Studio in Ashville, N.C.

Dusty McKeelan (2001) is an actor, director, teacher, and perennial student of the theatre. He received his BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2005. Since then, he has performed in Dinner With Friends (Gabe), Lone Star (Ray), Our Town (Howie Newsome), and Antigone (Messenger), among others. He has directed several productions, including The Mai, Spinning Into Butter, and The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women, also among others. He has been a full-time instructor at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting since 2007, teaching courses in Adler Technique and Voice & Speech, and serving as a vocal coach on a number of curricular productions. He and his wife Lindsay dream of one day starting an organization that brings the arts into healthcare environments in order to enhance quality of life for patients and therefore to facilitate the healing process. Dusty will be playing Louis in this season’s Angels in America, Part I at NC Stage. He will also begin teaching classes at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in Asheville.

Brookwood Alumnus to head Theatre
Communications Group

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre in the US, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin E. Moore as its new Managing Director. Moore, who currently serves as Managing Director of Arizona Theatre Company, has been a senior executive in the performing arts for nearly two decades, with additional posts at Herberger Theater Center Phoenix, Cincinnati Arts Association, Historic New Harmony and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Teresa Eyring, TCG's executive director, said: "Kevin is a highly respected theatre leader, who brings a wealth of knowledge and relationships from across the National Theatre field. His talent in all aspects of planning and administration will be a tremendous asset to TCG as we move toward our 50th anniversary year and launch the next 50 years of our National Theatre movement." Moore, who will join TCG in mid-October, will work in close partnership with Eyring, and will lead all aspects of TCG's business life. His experience includes significant accomplishments in staff management, strategic planning, board development, financial management, fundraising, marketing and communications.
