Internet Safety

"The internet is a great educational tool-and also a lot of fun for kids.  Share these simple tips to keep your child's surfing time safe."*

  • Ask permission before going online.
  • Don't give out personal information, such as name, address, telephone number, or school, or your parents' names.
  • Never send or post your digital image without a parent's permission
  • Don't agree to meet anyone you've talked to online.
  • Just because it's on the Internet doesn't make it true.
  • Think before you download.
  • Don't open e-mails from anyone that you do not recognize.
  • Do tell your parents if you see anything online that makes you uncomfortable.
