Introduction Of  The Digestive System
The digestive system is made up of the mouth which grinds up all of the food. The mouth grinds up the food until it is small enough to fit in your throat. When your food is small enough to fit in your throat your throat can then transfer your food to your stomach. The stomach has chemicals called pepsin, gastric juice, and hydrochloric acid. Those chemicals in your stomach help transfer your food to your small intestine. Your small intestine chemicals are called pancreatic juice, intestinal juice, and bile. Those chemicals help transfer food into fuel. The food then goes to the large intestine. The large intestine doesn't have any chemicals.
