As part of a comprehensive assessment program, students in some grades in Gwinnett County Public Schools participate in local Gateway assessments and the state-required Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT). These tests— when used with homework, projects, classwork, and teacher-developed tests— help parents and teachers measure student achievement for a particular year.
