News Program

Our student produced news program, "News for You on Channel 2" is broadcast live every morning from our very own TV station. The news program is not only a great way for students to stay informed about the many exciting events going on around the school, it is also a terrific way to give our older students a chance to participate in the news broadcast.      Anchors and backstage crew are recruited quarterly through a teacher recommendation process.  Anchors and back stage crew must be in 4th or 5th grade.  They must also have a habit of good attendance and be in  good academic standing. Next time you are at McKendree, make sure to tune in to News for You on Channel 2!
