Arena

The Arena Team at Oakland Meadow School uses a Trans-disciplinary Play-Based Approach to evaluate preschool children who are suspected of having some type of educationally significant special need and children who are transitioning from the Babies Can’t Wait Program.

The core evaluation team consists of members of the child’s family, a school psychologist, a diagnostician, a speech/language pathologist and a social worker. Other team members may include a physical therapist, an occupational therapist, a vision teacher, and a hearing specialist.
