Girls on the Run Team Chosen

Girls on the Run is a national, transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. It teaches life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.

Young Men's Running Club Forthcoming

Young Men's Running Club starts October 6, and goes for eight weeks just like the girls club. While GOTR is a national organization, the boys' group is a local school club that started last year at student request so they may have an equivalent. The boys will start promoting and recruiting in late September.

Interested boy runners, feel free to visit Mr. Gordon's trailer before homeroom to get the needed paperwork, after checking in and getting permission from your HR teacher.

Registration Information

Registration Packets are now available on our registration page. This is not full online registration, but can be completed digitally, printed, and brought in to save time on registration days. Payments can be made on My Payments Plus. My Payment Plus accounts are free and are also used to pay for school lunches.

See if you qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch.

Important: It may take up to 10 days for your application for Free / Reduced Lunch to be processed. Students are expected to pay full price for meals (and parents are responsible for all charges) until the application has been approved.

Sustained Silent Reading: Every Monday!

Every Monday morning our students engage in a block of "Sustained Silent Reading" during their Blue Devil Block. Parents, we would like to enlist your help in getting your students to bring their books and read.

Our teachers are bringing their books and reading. Mrs. Jarrett is bringing her book and reading. Even some of our guests, like Mr. Willis, November's Principal for the Day bring books to read on Monday. Help us get your child reading, by making sure they have a book to read!
