For students with a love of animals and an interest in their care and medical treatment, the Veterinary Technology program allows exploration of this exciting career. In the program’s top-flight facility, students work with animals every day to gain valuable skills and have an opportunity to apply those skills in a local veterinary hospital. In addition to studying the history and evolution of animals, students will learn about breeds, anatomy, biomechanics and movement, selection and judging, genetics, reproduction, digestion and nutrition, health and behavior management, and animal housing.
