May 14, 2011 Georgia Tech Scratch Competition










FOUR GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS WIN AWARDS
AT THE
GEORGIA TECH SCRATCH COMPETITION!


On Saturday, May 14th, 2011, four Gwinnett County Public School students competed and won awards at the 2011 Georgia Tech Scratch Competition.

Scratch is a programming language, created by MIT, that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music and art. Georgia Tech created a competition for elementary, middle and high school students to showcase their Scratch projects. At the awards ceremony, parents, teachers and students heard from current and recent student graduates of Georgia Tech's Computing programs. They also got to see the other Scratch projects that were submitted to the competition.
