Carol Lafayette is the Program Coordinator for the Speech-Language Impaired Program. Ms. Lafayette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Towson State University , a Master of Medical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Emory University School of Medicine, and Education Specialist degree in Special Education Administration and Supervision from Georgia State University. Ms. Lafayette has 30 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist in the public school setting. She has been with Gwinnett County Public Schools since 2002. Ms. Lafayette believes that the best part of our job as an SLP is knowing we are impacting a child's life.....forever.
