Dr. Vicki Grizzard, Lead Teacher, EBD

Dr. Vicki Grizzard is a Coordinator for Special Education and Psychological Services. She oversees the self-contained and psychoeducational special education programs designed for students identified as having Emotional and/or Behavioral Disorders (EBD). She also assists teachers and students in elementary and middle schools in the Berkmar and Norcross clusters. Dr. Grizzard is committed to the empowerment of teachers and administrators through training and the provision of resources so they may assist students in becoming successful in all facets of their lives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, with a focus on EBD, from Auburn University; and a master’s degree from the University of Georgia, with continued focus on EBD in relation to preschool children. Dr. Grizzard also holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia. She has been teaching in Gwinnett County Public Schools for 10 years.
