Dr. DeeDee Moore, Coordinator, Deaf/HH, APE

Dr. Dianne V. Moore, who is known as DeeDee, is the Special Education Coordinator for Deaf/Hard of Hearing services and Adapted Physical Education services. She has been with Gwinnett County Public Schools since 1990 and has 32 years of experience in the field of education, both general and special education. She holds bachelor's degrees in French and Special Education from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and Appalachian State University; master's degrees in Mental Retardation, Hearing Impairments, and Educational Administration from Winthrop University and Georgia State University; and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University. Dr. Moore believes that all students are special students, and that it is the educator's responsibility to tap into the unique strengths of each child so that we can celebrate their successes.
