Dr. Cheryl Ngoto, Special Education Coordinator, Middle School Program

Dr. Cheryl Ngoto comes from Atlanta Public Schools where she served as the Program Assistant for Special Education for Walden Middle School. She holds an undergraduate degree in MR and LD from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC.; a Master of Education degree in Learning Disabilities from Clark Atlanta University; and a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Clark Atlanta University. Dr. Ngoto has 16 years of experience in education, including teaching and leadership. She presently serves as Special Education Coordinator for High School programs in Gwinnett County. Dr. Ngoto believes that ALL children can learn and be successful, when the learning environment provides students with opportunities for decision making and self-advocacy skills in preparation for becoming participants in society.
