Congratulations to Amy Filippone of North Gwinnett High School, the 2024 CTAE Student of the Year! Recognizing their achievement in Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education courses during their high school careers, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) recently highlighted the work of 27 high school students during the Gwinnett County Public Schools’ 2024 Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education Student of the Year awards recognition program.

Tapestry 2024
2024 Tapestry Display exhibits Gwinnett’s best in visual arts

Gwinnett’s best young artists will be in the spotlight from February 22 through March 21, during Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Tapestry event. GCPS’ annual celebration of the arts takes place at the school district’s headquarters, which is located at 437 Old Peachtree Rd. NW in Suwanee.

 Over the course of three-and-a-half weeks, the ISC’s lobby area will be transformed into an art museum filled with paintings, drawings, three-dimensional art, mixed media, pottery, jewelry, and two-dimensional art— all created by Gwinnett students.

The GCPS Book Mobile 5K and Fun Run is back!

Book it for the bus! The 2024 GCPS Book Mobile 5K and Fun Run will be held on Saturday, May 4, at the GCPS Instructional Support Center, located at 437 Old Peachtree Road NW in Suwanee.


The event will raise funds for the Book Mobile program to help get books in kids’ hands and promote the love of reading. A family-friendly atmosphere before and after the race features door prizes, snacks, music, and more!
