|Microsoft Excel: Adding Color Tabs to Worksheets
If you are keeping records in several Excel worksheets and you would like to make them easier to identify, there are a couple of easy changes you can make. Instead of the “Sheet 1”... “Sheet 2”... designations that Excel gives you to start with, why not name each tab something more meaningful? Besides that, you can color-code worksheet tabs to make it easier to remember what’s in each worksheet. This is especially useful when you have multiple workbooks that have the same types of worksheets.
