Email Tip #15: Managing the Beast (err...Email) (Part 1)
To keep your inbox from growing overwhelmingly large, practice the following housecleaning tips:
Identify emails to be deleted -- such as spam -- and remove them immediately from your inbox.
Identify working documents you may wish to keep. Create a temporary folder to hold the mail while you decide.
Whenever possible, migrate electronic files to a standard file format using the "Export" command in your email program.
Regularly review all email folders and delete those documents that now obsolete.
