Vivian Morales, Heather Carr, and Roger Prill recently coordinated the first International Connections Forum at North Gwinnett High School that featured representatives from the countries of Chile, France, New Zealand, Turkey, Colombia, Germany, Japan, Peru, UK, Ecuador, Israel, Korea and the Philippines. This historic event, held in Feb. 2007 at NGHS, was an opportunity to start the process of establishing connections between high school students and the countries that are represented in our schools through the consulates of Atlanta, GA. The purpose of the forum was to explore educational and future business opportunities for both parties, and for students to experience the richness of these countries' cultural, societal and political environments

Classes can utilize this video with their students by showing small segments and then selecting some specific points that were presented at the Forum for class discussion. These discussions could then lead to further research on a specific area of the world.
