Congratulations to the 2002 Teachers as Leaders Class

The Teachers As Leaders program is designed for teachers who wish to become leaders in their schools and their communities, while remaining in the classroom. Each year, 30 to 35 teachers are chosen to go through the program, which includes two retreats and four day programs, each examining leadership and community needs. The program also has a study group component that meets to discuss how each program relates to leadership. The application process begins in February and includes nomination by the teacher's principal. Teachers are asked to remain active with the program, through participation in the alumni association or on the TAL Board of Trustees. This year’s class includes:
