Bond New school construction in progressreferendum set for Feb. 5 ballot
The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved a resolution calling for voters to consider a General Obligation Bond referendum question on the Feb. 5, 2008, ballot, when Georgia goes to the polls for its Presidential Preference Primary. Board adopts legislative priorities for 2008 session
In December, the Board of Education will meet with Gwinnett lawmakers to share concerns about issues that have an impact on system funding and operations. Final recommendations on the systemwide boundaries will be available for public review on Dec. 5, and the Board of Education will vote on the recommendations on Dec. 13. Click here to read more about the Fall 2007 redistricting process and check the GCPS web site on Dec. 5 for the revised maps.
