The Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center served as the host location for the 30th Annual Gwinnett Regional Science and Engineering Fair on Feb. 6. More than 270 students from 11 Gwinnett high schools participated with project displays. A first for this year, the Career Fair featured companies representing the fields of research, engineering, environmental science, medicine, technology, and more. Breakout sessions focused on industry discussions.

At the Fair, 25 projects earned special recognition, with 33 projects moving on to compete at the state level. Three projects earned invitations to compete in the International Fair.
