'Friday Night Lights' at Mill Creek High

Before the football season officially began, the Atlanta Falcons paid a visit to the Mill Creek High Hawks' stadium on Aug. 1, and were met with a rousing welcome from more than 10,000 fans.

The "Friday Night Lights" scrimmage between the Falcons' offense and defense allowed fans to catch a preseason glimpse of the team. Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith and the team's four quarterbacks all wore microphones during the event, allowing the fans to hear the play calls and cadences.

During halftime, the fans enjoyed an Allstate-sponsored field goal kickoff contest, and performances by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders, a skydiving team, frisbee-catching dogs, and fireworks.
