GCPS revises redistricting timeline (3-14-2011 Update)

Gwinnett County Public Schools has adjusted its redistricting timeline for the Duluth-Peachtree Ridge redistricting process currently underway. The change to the timeline, which appears in red below, affects the date and time for the public meeting on this issue. Rather than holding the public meeting at 5 p.m. on April 21, prior to the regular monthly Board of Education meeting, the meeting will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20. The change in time should allow more citizens to participate in the meeting and the change in date will provide Board members additional time to consider the feedback prior to their vote. The School Board is expected to vote on the redistricting proposal on Thursday, April 21, 2011.
