Board of Education names nine new principals for 2006-07

At its regular monthly meeting, the Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the following principal appointments, all of which are effective July 1, 2006:
Deborah Fusi, Principal of Duluth Middle
Marian Hicks, Principal of Freeman’s Mill Elementary
Anne Marie Keskonis, Principal of Harmony Elementary
Dr. William Kruskamp, Principal of Creekland Middle*
Wanda Law, Principal of Sycamore Elementary
Donna Ledford, Principal of J.C. Magill Elementary*
Mona Roberts, Principal of Knight Elementary
Dr. Gwen Tatum, Principal of Shiloh High*
Sandra Williams, Principal of K.E. Taylor Elementary

Deborah Fusi, an assistant principal at J.E. Richards Middle, will be the principal at Duluth Middle next year. The school’s current principal, Dr. Kay Harvey, is retiring at the end of the school year.

Marian Hicks, a half-time Director of Elementary Staffing in Human Resources and former Gwinnett principal, will be the principal at Freeman’s Mill Elementary next year, upon the retirement of Dr. Olivia Hodges, the current principal.
