  • On the Parent Portal… As we get closer to the end of the grading period you may have some questions about your child's grades and schoolwork. However, let's just say that sometimes our kids aren't the best communicators when it comes to answering our questions about school. That's where Gwinnett County Public Schools' Parent Portal comes in! go2.gwinnett.k12.ga.us is the go-to source for Gwinnett parents looking for information about their child's academic career, including grades, attendance and course history, discipline record, schedule, and test results. The Parent Portal offers safe and secure access, anytime from anyplace. All you need is a computer with Internet access and a user ID and password. To get started, complete the registration form available at your child's school. Learn more about the Parent Portal through this brief video and with answers to frequently asked questions.
  • On School Nutrition… Gwinnett’s award-winning School Nutrition Program ensures that students have nutritious and tasty options at meal time. Learning to make healthy food choices starts early for GCPS students, thanks to ongoing nutrition education in classrooms and cafeterias, covering topics like portion control, food safety, and locally grown foods. Don’t forget that MealPay gives families a quick and easy way to check and add to their student’s meal account.
  • On GCPS Community Schools… See what Community Schools have to offer for you and your family, because “There’s something for everyone at GCPS Community Schools.”
  • On the GCPS Foundation Fund… When you donate to the GCPS Foundation, you invest in our schools, our students, our staff…in other words, our community. It’s easy to donate! Donations may be directed to either the general fund for districtwide scholarships, grants, and initiatives, or to a specific cluster. (Find a list on the pull-down menu under Program Designation.)
  • On Gwinnett’s Be There initiative… Learn more about GCPS and Be There, a national movement that inspires parents to become more involved in their children's education. On our website, you’ll find links to our collection of parent tipsheets on topics ranging from academic support to health and wellness. On the Be There site, look for online parenting articles, videos, parenting forums, and more parent tips. Our latest Be There resources include a video and a Parental Control Resource Guide to help your student stay safe online.
  • On Postsecondary Planning… College-bound seniors and their parents are studying university websites, completing applications and polishing essays, and learning about financial aid options. And their younger friends and siblings should be thinking about their postsecondary plans, too. For college planning resources, visit GA College 411 and the Postsecondary Planning section of the GCPS website. Getting ready for college-admissions tests? Find SAT and ACT registration information online. Visit this College Board page that allows students to personalize a study plan before taking the SAT and students can review ACT practice questions online as well.
