Gwinnett honors bus managers and monitor of the year

At a banquet on March 28, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) honored a group of employees nominated by their peers for recognition in the Bus Managers and Monitor of the Year competition. Finalists were selected from this group based on the results of a written test, and winners were determined based on ride-alongs that evaluated the finalists in several areas.

GCPS congratulates its 2005 winners:
  • Regular Education Bus Manager of the Year— June Daniel, who drives in the Berkmar Cluster.
  • Special Needs Bus Manager of the Year— Belinda Johnson, who safely transports Gwinnett students attending the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf and the Georgia School for the Deaf; and
  • Bus Monitor of the Year—Rebecca Albritton, who serves students in the Grayson Cluster.
