Gwinnett Board Contests Constitutionality of the Georgia Charter Schools Commission

On September 10, 2009, at its regularly scheduled monthly business meeting, the Gwinnett County Board of Education voted to move forward with legal action to contest the constitutionality of the Georgia Charter Schools Commission. This action was taken because the Board and school district firmly believe that the Georgia Charter Schools Commission is unconstitutional.
