Mill Creek High's Technology Student Association touches the future
through volunteering
PrevAuto/StopNext

The Mill Creek High School Technology Student Association (TSA) joined forces with the
Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity on November 3, 2007, to help build a house in Lawrenceville.
The Technology Student Association is made up of students who are enrolled in Mill
Creek’s Engineering and Technology program, and many aspire to become engineers
or architects in the future.

These motivated students met Glenn Burrows, the TSA sponsor, at the job site at 6:30 a.m.,
and spent the next eight hours driving nails, hanging Sheetrock, building steps and applying
siding to the house. The project also brought together volunteers from Hamilton Mill United
Methodist Church and the new homeowners. This is the second year that the Technology
Student Association has worked with Habitat for Humanity.
