  2008 Education in Gwinnett
Members of the Mill Creek High School Technology Student Association volunteered with Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity to help build a house in Lawrenceville in November. The future engineers and architects spent the day driving nails, hanging Sheetrock, building steps, and applying siding to the house. Click here to read more about the students' exciting experience on the job site.

"What I consistently observe from the parents of my students is that they serve as good role models.  Parents who read at home, volunteer in the community, put their children first, and celebrate small successes have children who do the same thing. "

--Mandy Collins, 2008 Gwinnett Teacher of the Year
