Introduction to the Domain Mini-Lessons
Mini-lessons should be short and focused around a specific quality of writing. This section of the notebook provides sample mini-lessons addressing the different domains across the genres. Contributed by 4th and 5th grade teachers, these lessons can be adapted for any grade level. For further mini-lesson ideas, refer to the section titled Professional Resources. Here you will find titles for children’s books and other professional resources to help you generate lessons to address your students’ needs.
