Activity: Introduction:
Review character education traits you have taught.
Ask "What does it mean to be honest?" and discuss real life experiences.
Activity 1:
Ask the children to listen for examples of honesty and dishonesty in the story as you read Jamaica's Find.
Activity 2:
Role play the two scenarios from the story and discuss the emotions/feelings they evoke:
Jamaica returning the doll
Jamaica not returning the doll

Draw a picture and/or write about a time you were honest.
