Principal's Message
Welcome to North Gwinnett Middle School! This is such an exciting time as everyone prepares for the school to open in August. The building is almost complete, and it is quite impressive! Imagine yourself in one of the brand new classrooms, engaged in a hands-on lesson, and being instructed by a teacher who has a passion for his/her job. I have been working diligently to hire the best teachers, administrators, and support staff for North Gwinnett Middle School. At this time, the staffing plan is almost complete. This charter staff is looking forward to working with all of you, and so am I!

Thank you to everyone who became a charter PTSA member in April. I also appreciate the individuals who agreed to serve as our PTSA officers. The partnership between PTSA and the NGMS is very important. I encourage you to join PTSA and sign up to volunteer in an area of strength for you.

Other volunteer opportunities for you to consider would be serving as a School Council member or becoming a business partner with the school.

Over the past couple of months, I have had the opportunity to meet many of you at our student/parent informational meetings. Your enthusiasm for North Gwinnett Middle School excites me! If you were not able to attend the meetings, the presentations from these meetings are located on the student page of the NGMS website. I think you will find the answers to most of your questions in those presentations. If not, feel free to contact me at 678-714-5770. You will be calling the office at Sycamore Elementary. Please continue to check the NGMS website for updates as well.

It is an honor to serve as your principal! My intention is to create a school of academic excellence, a sense of school pride among students and staff, a school that welcomes the community, and the perfect educational link to bridge the journey from elementary school to high school. Thus, our motto “North Gwinnett Middle School: Constructing Excellence” should be evident in all that we do.
